Highlights ・A wood-fired pot with a unique, natural character. ・A spout is designed on the rim, and rivet details on the sides—showing the artist’s playful touch. ・Shallow form, ideal for bonsai—best suited for experienced growers. ・Perfect for bunjin-style pines, shimpaku, or kusamono, and elegant enough for exhibition use.
About the Potter: Toji, a Tokoname potter now in his 80s, created all his works in a wood-fired kiln. Inspired by the late bonsai master Tadashi Sekino, he broke from tradition to develop soft, natural forms that flow with the curves of plants. His unique style may feel unusual at first, but it reflects a lifetime of skill and playful creativity. Now retired, his pots will never be made again.
