Highlights

About the Potter:
Sampo is a bonsai pot artist born and raised in Tokoname. He followed in his father’s footsteps, who was also a bonsai pot maker, and began creating pots himself. He is especially skilled at making large, unglazed pots. Over the past ten years, he has devoted much effort to developing his own unique clay, rich in texture and character. Each of his pots carries the warmth of his hands and the natural charm of the clay he creates.
