BJR is a dedicated bonsai pot artisan who was born and raised in Tokoname. Instead of creating numerous popular pots for the bonsai market, he imbues his pots with his soul, shaping them into the forms he envisions. As a result, his pots are not easily obtainable. Not only are his pots artistically excellent, but they also excel in functionality as bonsai pots that bring out the best in the plants. This pot is titled "Sanagi＝蛹" in Japanese. The meaning of "Sanagi" is a pupa, the stage of an insect's life cycle between the larva and adult stages. We offer four pots in different sizes.
