This pot was made by Eimei from Tokoname, who is renowned for a bonsai potter. The deep Blue Oribe color, a glazing technique he excels at, is one of his signature expressions. This pot, in particular, features intricate crystalline patterns that stand out, making it exceptionally beautiful. Achieving such colors is a highly challenging task, causing pots similar in style made by other bonsai potters to command high prices. However, Eimei believes that making pots using advanced techniques and offering them at an affordable price holds its own value.
